Video Games Protected By The 1st Amendment

So it's official, Video Games now have the same constitutional protection in the United States that films, comic books, novels and other forms of popular media enjoy. The Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling that struck down a 2005 law in California which severely restricted the sale of Video Games on the basis of what is considered "too violent".

Now being a Canadian, this doesn't affect me much, but I think this news is overall just jam-packed with social-justice and video game goodness that I just had to post about it.
